Casa das Bugalhas

Time presses on, and the forest breathes winds scented with earth and water, wrapped in the bellowing of our deer and the company of the wild boar that sometimes come to peer at us. A place that offers moments not to be missed, where leisure is celebrated, the fire crackles and the walks unwind you. Come and pay us a visit: not only will you not regret it, we are certain that coming back will be as much a pleasure for you as it is for us!

We look forward to welcoming you…

Built entirely of schist and timber. The name Casa das Bugalhas comes from the seven oak trees on the hillside that surround the house. When the oak galls — the bugalhas — break loose from the branches, they roll down the slope and come to rest beside the house.
